Hello, dear Tash and Kay -
As anyone who knows Acorn first-hand (and for those who don't!) - what you're doing through Acorn Overseas is brilliant, and much needed.
And you've had Acorn and what it stands for, up close and personal all your life. So who knows better than you that a hands-on experience is worth more than a thousand words? I'm so pleased to be on your mailing list and to see your vision - and that makes me so grateful to have followed your life's journey so far, and proud of you both.
You're offering the most valuable 'happening' - "a life-changing experience". For whom? For your volunteers certainly - and as surely for those they come intending to love and help!
Your website follows the three golden rules - 1) it's eye-catching and uncluttered. 2) it's easy to navigate. 3) you invite viewers back to see the latest pics / hear the latest news / read how they can join in person, or at least sponsor someone.
Kay's description of weather throughout the year really gives volunteers a feel for what to expect - especially as it'll probably be so unusual from what they're used to. And you give volunteers a range of projects to choose from - Everyone likes a choice, especially in something as different as you're offering!
With much love from your friend,
David.

I just want to say how impressed I am with this wonderful new website you've set up Tash and Kay. I will certainly be encouraging my daughter, Hannah, to spend some time with you during her gap year and I'll suggest she spreads the word around her friendship group too. Your hard work and dedication shines through every word on the website; it has been very touching to read it all.
